air controls

Air controls supply air to jets and are either open or closed. To open turn the handle clockwise and to stop air injection to the jets turn the handle 180 degrees counter clockwise.

Inside the throat of the body a small plastic ball operates as a one-way check valve floating up into a seat and stopping the water from flooding down into the airline. This check ball can not be replaced with out damaging the air control. If the ball sticks to the seat it will inhibit air flow. If this should occur, simply unscrew the cap and push the ball check free.

The body o-ring seals the cap and stops any air or water leakage around the cap.

The seal inside that the valve seat compresses to stop air coming in. It can be removed and replaced if needed.

Remember: if the one way ball check does not seal and the water level is high enough, water will leak out the air pick up line inside the equipment area.
